EK's Under 18s continued their long unbeaten run ( nine games) with a hard fought victory over Green conference side Whitecraigs .
A break from league action enabled the coaches to give more game time to those who have been missing out.
The boys didn't disappoint and dominated the game from start to finish, with the visitors never looking like scoring.
More clinical finishing near the goal line would have put EK ahead earlier, but they were held up over the line twice. EK continued to dominate and eventually opened the scoring through scrum half Sam Connery, who found space after good work from the forwards . Ethan Aitken added the extras from wide out.
Half time 7-0 for EK
The second half continued in similar fashion , and with more changes it became slightly disjointed.
EK however scored a contender for the U18s' try of the season. From a scrum in our own 22, the ball was moved wide to full back Scott Donald who raced in from halfway - great score.
Ethan again added the extras from our wide which ended the scoring.
This proved to be a good workout for the boys as they build towards the cup campaigns in 2017.
