EK win shared development match with Cumnock

Unfortunately Cumnock and Stewarty could only muster 12 boys for this conference fixture. They only had nine by ko time, so the match was forfeited and a development game played. EK supplied them with sixof our subs and a full 15 a side game was played.

Unlike previous weeks, EK were fast out the blocks and were five tries to the good after only 12 mins!! Cumnock never gave up and, with almost half their team being EK players, got on the scoresheet . This was before half time thanks to Grant Dryburgh setting up one of their players.

After wholesale changes, the boys kept up the pace scoring a further six tries in the second half - 12 in total. Added to nine conversions, the boys topped 70 points. Cumnock managed to score again with EK player Craig Thomson claiming the points!

No game next weekend - September weekend - but massive return game with Allan Glens on 1 October, in EK!!
