EK 2nds won at Annan on Saturday, 26-30. They led 30-5 at half time so withstood an Annan revival to maintain their promotion hopes.
The big influence on the match was the pitch, with a pronounced slope.
EK claimed four tries, two for Steve Lennan,and one each for Scott (Club Captain) Johnston and David Cowie.
Bert Blackwood notched 2 penalties and 2 conversions. At the time of writing, I have no idea about the timing of the scores,so I have just made the timings up!
Next week: the 2nds have no match.
