EK 2s win to go top of the league!

EKRFC needed some cheer yesterday and it was supplied by the 2nd XV as they continued their successful season with a try bonus
36-12 victory at Hillhead/Jordanhill.

No details are available at the time of going to press other than the try scorers were: Chris Quinn 2; Steven Mackinnon 2; Alex Irvine 1 and Gavin Meikle 1.

Mr Reliable, Patrick Quigg appears to have an off day with the boot, slotting "only" three conversions to take his season tally to 58 points from six matches. One day a try will come!!

The match statistics timings are made up, just to record them on the system.

Next week:that's the first half of the 2nd XV season complete so EK next week host Whitecraigs, EK having won their first encounter comfortably 12-30 away. Let's hope they keep the good run going. Kick off 2pm.
