New 2nd XV manager was over the moon when his team won their first league match of the season, beating Annan 26-3 at the Torrance House Arena.
EK got four tries, the first by youngster Calum Hastie. The others by persons currently unknown. Stott - allowed out for 90 minutes - kicked the EK points.
A highlight was the return of prop Dan Trampenau, in his first game for almost a year after an accident. He is a strong technical prop so Pep had better be looking over his shoulder, if that is not too energetic for him.
EK's team was a nice blend of youth and dinosaurs. Long may they reign together.
Next week EK are at home to Cartha Queens Park 3rds, kick off 3 pm.
